Thank you for the interest in this item. Old Vintage Brass Set Pair of Two 2 New York Sheffield Brass Fireplace Andirons. This is a nice set of two vintage Brass andirons. The items are made of Yellow Brass and they have iron rear leg supports (see photos). The items are tarnished and have wear to the lacquered finish.
They are made of Brass so you could polish them up Bright and Shiny. The items have a traditional colonial American style (see photos). The andirons are marked by the maker: Sheffield of New York.The items are American in origin. Each item measures in total about 18 inches high, each is about 19 inches from the front edge to the back side and each is about 11 inches wide from side to side at the front feet. The items have some wear from age and use (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
